Declan Trezise claims Stage 1 victory!
Today’s first stage of the Spirit of Tasmania Cycling Tour saw a massive effort from the entire team over 110km and on the final 3km climb to Grindlewald before the final few kms and Declan’s sprint to the finish.
Declan now goes into the GC, sprint and KOM leaders jerseys.
“The boys really committed to me in the last couple of kilometres and that’s what makes it even more special … seeing them after the finish line is a feeling like no other.”
