Ruby Takes Out The Win At The Grafton To Inverell Cycle Classic!

Sunshine Coast Pro Racing women's team

Some epic results after last weekend’s Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic – the toughest one day cycling classic in Australia.

Ruby took out first place in the inaugural women’s Gibraltar to Inverell at the 60th Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic and in the NRS leader’s jersey.

Down to a tough final corner and with help from the team Ruby took the lead and claimed a memorable victory in the 136.6km race.

Ruby continues to hold first place for the Elite in the NRS and Anya has edged her way to the NRS leaders jersey for Under 23.

A great ride for the team and an unreal result! Unfortunately Sophie had to retire around 70km after a crash – she was a little scratched up but is ok and recovering well.

The ARA | Pro Racing Sunshine Coast Women’s team currently have a comfortable lead on the NRS ladder.

For the men Cameron Scott came in at 10th after a tough race chasing the gap but the team could not close it in the end.

Both teams will now focus on their training as they prepare for the next few months of racing.
