What an incredible ride from Kane Richards in Sunday’s UCI 1.1 Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon.
Facing off against some of the world’s top cyclists, Kane proved once again that he’s a true force to be reckoned with.
Kane and Will Eaves made the early breakaway of 16 including four Jayco AlUla riders. In the final few laps Jayco AlUla’s Lukas Pöstlberger attacked off the front and Kane kept the pressure on to try and close down the gap.
It was on the final lap that Kane and Jayco AlUla’s Zdeněk Štybar broke clear of the chasing group. Kane gave it his all to win the sprint for 2nd against Štyba
